WOGC visits Sri Lanka's Ministry of Industry and Commerce

On 12 May 2016, by the invitation of His Excellency Palitha T. B. Kohona, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, President CARY YAN led a delegation to visit Sri Lanka.

During the visit, the delegation met with Rishad Bathiudeen MP, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Sri Lanka, and the Minister of Rieshad is very familiar with China. He briefed on the possible opportunities for trade between China and Sri Lanka , As well as through cultural and trade exchanges will produce a solid prospect. And expressed the hope that together with WOGC they can promote Sri Lanka's economic and social development. The delegation also visited the Minister of Territorial Affairs of Sri Lanka, His Excellency Hon. T.B. Ekanayaka MP. Secretary-General Chen Hong introduced the organization of WOGC and made recommendations on the infrastructure, land planning and other aspects of Sri Lanka from the perspective of national competitiveness, and was highly recognized by Mr. Minister.

His Excellency Palitha T. B. Kohona also hosted a delegation at home. The mission reached a consensus on WOGC's consultative status with Sri Lanka on national competitiveness. The mission also met with the Sri Lankan religious leader, The Master, the Venerable Viharadhipathi of Yapahuwa. Han Jun Deputy Secretary-General, Deputy Secretary-General He Shu, Deputy Secretary-General Pan Liang accompanied the visit.
