WOGC visited Sri Lanka and met with Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena in Nov. 28th and introduced initiatives in United Nations, Latin America and Southeast Asia. WOGC provided constructive suggestions for Sri Lanka's development to the President.
The president expressed appreciation for the WOGC's new approach to national competitiveness and global governance, the promotion of the United Nations sustainable development goals, and the ability to help developing countries grow. He also expressed expectations for cooperation with WOGC.
After the meeting with President, the current Minister of homeland, T.B. Ekanayake and WOGC President, Mr. Cary signed a strategic cooperation memorandum.
The signing of this memorandum, not only marked significant progress in actualizing United Nations 17 sustainable development goals in South Asia, after its successful achievements in Latin America.
